The IEEE Radio Conference Is Back

After a three-year hiatus the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Radio International Conference will return this spring. The 8th edition of IEEE Radio will be held at The Ravenala Attitude in Balaclava, Mauritius May 1–4, 2023.

Mauritius, an island country in the Indian Ocean, is located off the eastern coast of Africa.

According to IEEE officials, the aim of the conference is to discuss recent developments, theories and practical applications that cover the whole scope of radio frequency engineering, including radio waves, antennas, propagation and electromagnetic compatibility.

Ahead of the conference, prospective authors are invited to submit original contributions on their latest research activities. Student papers are strongly encouraged, with prizes awarded for Best Student Papers.

Proposals for special sessions, workshops and tutorials are also welcome. At the event the IEEE says a panel of distinguished researchers will deliver keynote speeches and are invited to talk about recent technology trends and advances.

The deadline for paper submissions (2 pages) is Jan. 31. The deadline for special session, workshop and tutorial proposals is Feb. 15.
