WASHINGTON � On-air personality Scott Shannon will host the 2016 NAB Marconi Radio Awards Dinner & Show. The event will be held at the Omni Nashville Hotel on Sept. 22, in conjunction with the Radio Show. He is a 2010 recipient of his own NAB Marconi Radio Award.

Shannon currently serves as the morning drive host for New York�s WCBS(FM). He is credited for developing the popular �Morning Zoo� format for morning shows.�

In 2003, he was inducted into the NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame. In 2006, Shannon was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame and is also featured at the Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.
