Software company Aiir has announced its plans to rebrand recently-acquired Radio News AI to Audio.co.
Audio.co is set to launch in Q1 of 2025 and, according to an Aiir press release, will introduce an AI-driven commercial production tool via a partnership with TM Studios. Audio.co will also continue to offer news, weather, traffic and information reports for radio using AI and cloned voices.
The company has appointed Aiir Product Specialist Lee Price to lead the product. Aiir says Price brings extensive experience in radio and audio production from his previous roles at Global and Bauer Media Group.
“Audio.co will allow users to generate ‘spec spot’ scripts, create AI voiceovers and, thanks to our new partnership with TM Studios, choose a piece of music from their extensive Studio Dragonfly music library,” said Price in the release.
Other Aiir products for radio broadcast applications include the PlayoutOne automation system, station websites and apps and studio messaging dashboards.
