Aiir is a software company with products for radio broadcast applications including the PlayoutOne automation system, station websites and apps, and studio messaging dashboards.

Radio News AI is an audio AI tool with which stations can create content — news, sports, weather, events and traffic reports — using AI and cloned voices.

Terms of the acquisition were not made public.

“AI in audio and radio is going to play a major part of the industry’s future,” CEO Ricki Lee told Radio World.

“This acquisition allows us to take a leap forward into this space as well as expanding on the current products services. We have some big plans that will be announced in the coming months.”
