Apple Introduces iPod Radio Remote

Apple unveiled the iPod Radio Remote; it combines a wired remote control with FM radio for the iPod nano and a fifth-generation iPod.
Apple says listeners can listen to FM stations while displaying station and song information on the iPod screen, skip tracks and adjust the volume of their iPod.
Company exec Greg Joswiak called the remote “the best FM radio listening experience for iPod.” The device also displays text information for stations that support RDS.
The iPod Radio Remote is to ship shortly; it lists for just under $50. The remote includes Apple headphones with a special short cable.
A connection kit, which lists for just under $100, includes an iPod universal dock, an Apple remote, an iPod AV cable, an iPod dock connector to USB 2.0 Cable and an iPod USB power adapter.
