Metra Electronics says its Axxess HD Radio package makes it easier for automakers to upgrade a factory head unit to an HD Radio receiver.
The digital interface is designed to work with most factory-installed automotive radios. The product consists of a universal HD Radio tuner box and an interface specific for each vehicle class.
