BE Promotes Bealor

Long-time employee is now EVP of Product Development

Equipment manufacturer and broadcast software developer Broadcast Electronics has promoted Tim Bealor. He’s now executive vice president of product development.

Bealor started at BE as a technician in 1975 when the company was still in Silver Spring, Md. He’s now is in charge of the Quincy, Ill-based company’s RF, AudioVault, TRE, all other studio products and studio technical services.

BEI Electronics President/CEO Joe Roark said Bealor’s lifetime achievements have earned the trust of his fellow BE team members as well as the company’s customers, noting the firm’s “customers and our product engineering and development teams are in very competent hands.”

Bealor had been vice president of business development and picks up some of the duties previously handled by Ray Miklius, who recently departed the company for Harris Broadcast.
