Borneman Promoted at WABC(AM)

Steve Borneman was appointed president and general manager of WABC(AM) News/Talk Radio 77 in New York.
He had served as station manager of New York’s WPLJ(FM), as well provided operational oversight of WQEW(AM) Radio Disney.
Borneman succeeds Tim McCarthy, who in anticipation of the pending ABC Radio/Citadel transaction, will focus on his duties as president and general manager of WEPN(AM) 1050 ESPN Radio in New York, which remains part of Disney.
