Working with Ford, streaming tech company Stingray has launched apps called “Ford Streaming Radio” and “Lincoln Streaming Radio.”
Stingray has been expanding its efforts over the past year to become a “global audio powerhouse,” as we have reported in several articles, including partnerships with iM Media Labs, Stellantis and Nissan (find our coverage here).
These new offerings are co-branded applications that provide audio entertainment to vehicles in the United States and Canada in certain models. They include 2025 and newer Ford Explorer, Ford Expedition, Lincoln Aviator and Lincoln Navigator, as well as the 2024 and newer Lincoln Nautilus. Lincoln is the luxury division of Ford.
Stingray, the parent of TuneIn, says drivers of those models will get access to 100,000 radio stations, as well as 100+ music channels without ads and an extensive podcast library. Access requires Ford’s Premium Connectivity or Connectivity Package options.
Jim Riley, president of Stingray Music USA, said the company worked with Ford “over many months” to customize its in-dash audio offering.
Last year Stingray introduced a Karaoke offering in some Ford vehicles.
