CBS Radio’s KMNB/KZJK Picks MacLeash

She will serve as ops manager for Minneapolis stations

Lauren MacLeash has been named operations manager for CBS Radio’s KMNB and KZJK FMs in Minneapolis, according to Mick Anselmo, senior vice president and market manager for CBS Radio Minneapolis.

She will oversee the operations of both KZJK and KMNB, in addition to managing the programming, talent and production as PD of KMNB, effective Sept. 26.

KMNB is a country music station playing to Minneapolis at 102.9 MHz, streaming online and through the Radio.com app for mobile devices. KZJK also plays classic hits at 104.1MHz, streaming online and via its mobile app.

MacLeash has 25 years of broadcast experience as a radio programming director. She has programmed a range of formats including classic rock, active rock, classic hits and triple A.

A Louisville, Ky., native, MacLeash programmed (then classic rock) WGFX(FM) in Nashville, Tenn., WAFX(FM) Norfolk, Va., and in 1991 transitioned to triple A WKOC(FM) in Virginia Beach, Va. In 1994, she was recruited to the Twin Cities to program KTCZ(FM) Cities 97 through August 2013. She also served as PD for classic hits KQQL(FM) from 2010 to 2013.
