Clear Channel Traffic Debuts in Mexico

Clear Channel has debuted its traffic service in Mexico City – the first rollout of the traffic product outside the United States. Radio Trafico Total is a joint effort with Grupo Acir, Mexico’s largest broadcast group and Clear Channel Traffic.
Radio Trafico Total is operating seven days per week and claims to reach more than 33% of Mexico City’s 26 million residents. Currently operating on Grupo Acir´s core radio stations in Mexico City, the plan is to expand Radio Trafico Total throughout Mexico in the near future to cities such as Guadalajara, Acapulco and Monterrey.
Clear Channel Traffic operates in more than 100 markets in the U.S.
Grupo Acir is a joint venture between Grupo Acir Comunicaciones, S.A. de C.V. and Clear Channel Worldwide operating 110 radio stations in 41 markets across Mexico.
