XM will kick off its coverage of the 2006 college football season the week of Aug. 28.
This marks the first year that XM will carry all the football teams in the Big East Conference. XM is also the satellite network of the Atlantic Coast, Big East, Big Ten and Pacific-10 Conferences. It will carry the BCS bowl series from ESPN Radio.
