France’s media regulator, the Conseil supérieur de l’audiovisuel, has released its summary of radio equipment in use for the entire year of 2016 in France.
While the report indicates that nearly every French individual (99.2 percent) has at least one medium to listen to radio, a number of them also have the ability to listen to digital radio.
The results showed that 12 percent of French households had a DAB receiver in 2016. CSA’s report also provided information on television for the fourth quarter of 2016.
