Dawnco is emphasizing the post-9/11 importance of C band satellite terrestrial interference filters. The filters are placed between the feedhorn and LNB of a C band downlink. TI filters clean up reception of desired satellite signals from possible jamming by radar signals originating with AWACS planes, now more prevalent.
“The filters are available to pass even just one transponder and solve almost all conditions of TI,” said a company spokesman.
