Deezer Integrates Stitcher Programming

Adds news, entertainment to catalog

Digital music streaming service Deezer has expanded its music catalog with news and entertainment programming.

The launch marks the integration of Stitcher programming. The privately-held Deezer acquired the radio and podcast app last October.

Initially, the new programming will be available to listeners in the U.K., France and Sweden. Deezer will roll-out new programs “in additional regions” throughout the year, according to the company. Features include “search, add and listen” on the user’s desktop or mobile device.

Listeners who sign up for one year of service for just under $10/month have access to high definition audio on Sonos. Deezer Premium Plus delivers unlimited access on phones, tablets and computers without ads.

Music listeners in the U.S. can access the ad-free streaming music service for $4.99 a month through Bose SoundLink and SoundWave, 50% off the regular price of $9.99 a month, according to Deezer.
