DRM Digital Radio Implementation Workshop Set for Malaysia

Will be held Nov. 26–27 at the Melia Hotel in Kuala Lumpur

The Digital Radio Mondiale Digital Radio Implementation and Rollout Workshop, will take place Nov. 26–27 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Held at the Melia Hotel, the event organized by the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union, the Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development and the Digital Radio Mondiale Consortium, will provide broadcasters, regulators, policy makers, governments and other stakeholders details on the standard’s technology and features, planning methods and implementation.

In addition, says DRM, the two-day conference will provide insight (and case studies from various regions) into the various solutions and strategies available for preparing an analog-to-digital transition, including planning a full-scale countrywide rollout.

Presentations during the event include “DRM Receivers: Updates, Challenges and Opportunities;” “Planning Your Transition From Analogue to Digital Radio;” and “DRM Digital Radio Implementation (AM and FM).”
