Entercom Re-Ups With Arbitron

Radio broadcaster signs multiyear deal for PPM, diary audience ratings data

Entercom Communications Corp., one of the five largest radio groups in the country, has renewed an agreement with Arbitron to use its radio Portable People Meter and diary ratings.

Citing a long and collaborative relationship between the two firms, Arbitron President/CEO Sean Creamer says the companies will continue joint efforts to highlight radio’s strength within the expanding media landscape.

Arbitron and Entercom executives describe the deal as a “multiyear, multimarket” renewal.

“We plan to continue to collaborate with Arbitron to demonstrate the incredible value of radio, to ensure broadcasters get full credit for their audiences and to enhance the high return to marketers on their advertising investment,” says Entercom President/CEO David Field.
