When John Hogan asked friends and family what they thought of him taking over Clear Channel Radio in 2002, he told USA Today, “There were people who thought I was crazy.”
And, “Radio was not a cool thing” at the time.
Now, Hogan wants the company to be defined by its involvement in new technology rather than by how many stations in its stable.
