Broadcast equipment maker Wheatstone has named Lukas Hurwitz as a sales engineer. He will be based out of the San Francisco metro area.
Effective immediately, he will represent the company’s line of digital signal processors, consoles and audio network systems.
“Lukas brings a lot of unique experience and industry knowledge that will help expand our presence, and provide that one-on-one sales support for our broadcast customers,” said Wheatstone Director of Sales Jay Tyler.
Hurwitz has more than 15 years’ experience in the audio, music and broadcast industries, including stints as Inovonics sales and marketing manager, as well as working for Apple as a training and software specialist.
He has also produced and arranged original music for indie labels and studied classical music as a violinist. Hurwitz continues to produce electronic music in his spare time.
“I’ve always admired Wheatstone as a company that is serious about good audio. It’s great to be working with others who are also passionate about audio,” said Hurwitz.
