Tom Potts has been named vice president of sales for iHeartMedia Milwaukee, effective immediately.
Potts rejoins iHeartMedia from EW Scripps, where he served as senior account manager for 13 years. Prior to that, he was general sales manager at iHeartMedia Milwaukee from 1996–2003.
The Milwaukee cluster includes WMIL(FM), WKKV(FM), WRIT(FM), WISN(AM); WRNW(FM) and WOKY(AM).
Additionally, iHeartMedia Seattle says Justin Riley has been named program director for KPWK(FM)/Power 93.3 and KBKS(FM)/106.1 KISS-FM.
“With our brand realignment in Seattle earlier this year, isolating the right programmer to lead Power 93.3 and 106.1 KISS-FM into this bright new future is critical — Justin Riley was an obvious choice to move these two brands forward here in Seattle, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome him to the team,” said Rich Moore SVP of programming for iHeartMedia Seattle.
The Pacific Northwest native will work with on-air personalities and sales to oversee on-air content, digital footprints and music programming for both brands and their local events.
Riley previously worked as the program director for KKRZ(FM) and KXJM(FM) in Portland, Ore. He has also served as the PD for KKOB(FM) and KMGA(FM) in Albuquerque, N.M., and at KSII(FM) in El Paso, Texas, as well as the assistant PD and music director at KQMB(FM) in Salt Lake City.
iHeartMedia Seattle owns and operates KPWK, KJR(FM), KUBE(FM), KBKS and KJR(AM).
