Controlling interest in Technology Enabled Clothing and its subsidiary SCOTTeVEST have been acquired by venture capital firm Jordan Global Enterprises in a stock deal valued at $100 million.
SCOTTeVEST makes jackets with multiple pockets to carry electronic devices and other gear. Technology Enabled Clothing created a patent-pending concept that integrates electronic devices into the clothing through concealed conduits that allow devices to be connected, including a link to an audio headset. The PAN concept is being applied to the SCOTTeVEST.
