Live365 has launched the Studio365 mobile application. The app empowers broadcasters to manage their radio stations from their mobile device, the company said. It also said that the Studio365 mobile app includes many advanced features, allowing online broadcasters to further interact and engage their listeners. The Studio365 mobile app is the first of many new broadcasting and listening products scheduled for release this year.
The app features the mobile Shout Out feature, designed to enable broadcasters to interact with listeners. Broadcasters can record multiple Shout Outs directly from their phone and set them to play using the mobile screen. This allows archived and prerecorded broadcasts to engage listeners without having to update tracks or playlists. The Studio365 app also provides broadcasters with the ability to host audio on Live365’s platform — the capability to go “live” on the microphone whenever they choose.
“I love the Studio365 Shout Out feature, which adds more real time elements to my broadcast,” said Jim Murphy, owner of Edgewater Radio on the Live365 network.
The app enables users to connect and manage their station on the go. Broadcasters can create, preview and manage Shout Out voice messages, set and update station ID and preroll messages, update station title, image, description, review listening statistics, as well as monitor their station.
The Studio365 app is free for all Live365 broadcasters and is available for both iPhone and Android devices.
