Logitek Electronic Systems has updated its Audio Engine, a digital audio router that provides mixing, summing and intercom capabilities.
Updates include more I/O capability on the analog and digital I/O cards; a network card that provides dual 1Gbit Ethernet connections between Engines using fiber optic cabling; a multi-DSP card that allows EQ and limiting functions on selected inputs; supervisory software including command scripting for triggers of multiple events; and computer software router control panels. Physical router controls are available.
The Audio Engine is modular, based on a card-cage architecture; users plug in cards for the desired number of A and D I/Os, networking with other Audio Engines, and DSP audio processing.
