LPB Communications Inc. has sold its analog cart business. LPB gained the operation as a part of the company’s recent acquisition of Fidelipac.
The analog cart machine product line has been sold to Jim Martin and Barry Mishkind who make up the Tucson, Ariz.,-based business “CartGuys.” The new owners plan to develop new business and reenergize sales and service of cart machines and tape cartridges to the existing customer base. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Mishkind, a 35-year broadcast engineering veteran and Radio World contributor, will focus on marketing, new business and product quality. Martin will handle existing accounts and product production.
