Canadian broadcaster Pattison Media has partnered with Quu to add visual messaging to 39 of its radio stations across western Canada.
The agreement allows Pattison Media to display programming details and advertiser content — including text, logos and images — on in-car dashboard screens and online audio streams.
Quu and Pattison Media said the move expands advertising inventory while offering listeners dynamic visual content alongside audio broadcasts.
“Radio is no longer just an audio experience,” said Steve Newberry, CEO of Quu, in a release. “As more listening happens in connected vehicles and through digital streams, broadcasters have new opportunities to engage audiences visually.”
Headquartered in Kamloops, British Columbia, Pattison Media operates 51 radio stations, two television stations and 20 online news outlets across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
