Quu Inc., a proponent of creating visual content for radio, has named radio veteran Laura Gonzo as its senior director of affiliate services. The company said Gonzo will now work with stations and sales teams to ensure the implementation of Quu’s advertising products.
According to a Quu press release, in this new role, Gonzo will bring decades of experience in business and brand development, strategic consulting and B2B sales, from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. “She’s best known in the radio industry for helping guide the exponential affiliate growth of the groundbreaking ‘The Bob & Tom Show’ from 1997 to 2008,” read the release.
Steve Newberry, CEO of Quu, said they are fortunate to welcome Gonzo to the team.
“She’s an intuitive problem-solver with the unique experience we need to take our customer service to the next level,” said Newberry. “Laura’s impressive background in media, non-profit and consumer goods gives her a unique perspective on maximizing revenue and increasing value for local radio advertisers in all categories.”
As radio continues to fight for its place on the car dashboard, companies like Quu say their products will help do just that.
