Telos Alliance said that its Telos Infinity VIP intercom system has completed a technical review with Amazon Web Services.
Infinity VIP is a cloud-based broadcast intercom system that works with smartphones, laptops, desktops and tablets. Telos said the AWS Foundational Technical Review “allows AWS Partners to identify and remediate risks in their software or solutions,” whether the software is delivered as SaaS or deployed by customers.
“Telos Alliance is working with AWS to offer TV and radio professionals a new way to connect, collaborate and contribute audio to broadcast production workflows using a virtualized environment,” it said in a press release. “Since Infinity VIP is deployed as a software container, it presents clients with a wider range of options than traditional matrix-based broadcast intercom systems, extending the reach of the intercom beyond the boundaries of the physical plant.”
The system works with HTML5 web browsers or the free VIP app for iOS and Android smartphones.
