NAB Invites Technical Papers for Spring Show

If you’ve been thinking about proposing a technical paper or presentation for the spring NAB Show, now’s the time.

The association is accepting proposals for the 2026 NAB Broadcast Engineering and IT Conference in April in Las Vegas.

Proposals must be in by Nov. 14. Notifications will be sent by Jan. 12.

The intended audience includes broadcast engineers, technicians, technology managers, developers, contractors, equipment manufacturers, consultants and researchers. Proposals should be relevant to the evolution of technology across radio, television, digital and the broader media and IT ecosystem.

The list of topics for which NAB is inviting proposals includes:

  • Broadcast Radio
  • Broadcast Television
  • Broadcast Facility Design
  • Digital Online Operations
  • Positioning, Navigation and Timing Via Broadcast Signals
  • Audio and Video Technology
  • Technical Regulatory Issues
  • Cybersecurity for Broadcasters
  • Generative AI Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) in Broadcasting

The BEIT Conference Committee is chaired by Sun Sachs, SVP of product at Townsquare Media.

NAB, partnering with the IEEE Broadcast Technology Society, also invited graduate and undergraduate students to submit papers. The best student paper award will be presented at the NAB BEIT Opening Session, with travel assistance provided to the winner. Use the NAB BEIT Conference Student Paper Submission Portal.
