Sirius Introduces ‘Sportster’ Plug & Play

Sirius Satellite Radio has introduced a transportable “Plug & Play” Sirius Sportster, designed to complement Sirius’ relationship with the National Football League, and highlight the satcaster’s coverage of live NFL games.
The Sportster prompts listeners that their favorite NFL team is playing. A “seek” feature can prompt for additional team games. It lists all of the games available and scores on Sirius by league (NFL, NHL, etc.)
A “jump” button can be programmed to take the listener to any channel. The transportable Sportster can be used in a car, truck, RV, boat or home. A boombox attachment is planned.
The Sportster ships to stores, including Best Buy and Circuit City next month and will list for just under $100. The car and home docking stations each list for $49.99.
