Smyth New RAB Board Chair

Greater Media President/CEO Peter Smyth was elected chairman of the board at the RAB. His two-year term begins on Jan. 1.
New President/CEO Jeff Haley made the announcement at the RAB fall meeting in Atlanta.
Current Chairman Joe Bilotta, president and chief operating officer of Buckley Broadcasting, will remain on the board as immediate past chairman.
A 30-year radio industry executive, Smyth has been CEO of Greater Media since 2002 and president of the company since 2000.
The RAB board also elected Weezie Kramer, regional vice president of Entercom, as vice chairman of the board, and Scott Herman, executive vice president of CBS Radio, as chairman of the finance committee.
