Tech Consultants Merge Efforts

Three technical consultants to the broadcast and consumer electronics industries have merged their firms.
The new company is Meintel, Sgrignoli and Wallace. It includes William Meintel of TechWare Inc., Gary Sgrignoli of Sgrignoli Consulting and Dennis Wallace of Wallace & Associates.
While much of the company’s attention will be on the transition to digital TV, it also handles radio business. Meintel and Wallace have done work on IBOC field testing for IBiquity, and some early IBOC coverage and interference evaluation software was developed by Meintel, Wallace said.
