Talk Media Network has transitioned its satellite and internet distribution business to LinkUp Communications.
The announcement was made by Josh Leng, CEO of Talk Media Network, and Karen Johnson, CEO of Linkup Communications.
TMN had been with Westwood One previously.
“We carefully reviewed our options and listened to our affiliates in choosing to remain on the XDS platform, while choosing the best distribution partner in LinkUp Communications,” Leng said in a joint press release.
Answering a followup question from Radio World, Leng added: “Our affiliates expressed a strong desire to continue receiving our programming via XDS. Technically, we have some shows dual-feeding to allow all stations to transition smoothly. We’ve had our programs available with LinkUp for two weeks now.”

TMN has about 1,200 radio affiliates. Its daily personalities include Kate Delaney, Tom Sullivan, Steve Sommers and Clyde Lewis; the company also has a lengthy roster of weekly programs.
