TuneIn, an Internet radio portal, struck a deal with mobile phone maker HTC to be a preloaded app on its HTC One and future phones.
TuneIn also announced an agreement with talkSPORT, “the United Kingdom’s biggest national commercial sports broadcaster,” according to a release, to provide its lineup of sports talk programs and soccer broadcasts to TuneIn users.
Director of Strategy for talkSPORT Jimmy Buckland told the supplier that the partnership “builds on our strategy to grow the talkSPORT brand both in the U.K. and around the world.”
TuneIn claims access to 50,000 radio stations and more than 1 million on-demand programs.
