Wheatstone Offers VoxPro Built Into LXE

The idea was prompted by a customer's application

The Wheatstone LXE AoIP console surface is now available with a VoxPro system built in.

As you saw in Radio World’s post-NAB Show photo wrapup issue, Wheatstone was asked by Brian Kerkan of ZMinistries if it could build a VoxPro right into an LXE. “We wanted to save counter space and integrate the controller and use the monitor as a multipurpose display,” Kerkan said. “It will be used for call control and screen builder to control other devices.”

Now this option is available to others, creating what Wheatstone calls a fully integrated mixing, routing and live editing experience. It will show the LXE with VoxPro option at the Texas Association of Broadcasters show in August and IBC in Amsterdam in September.

VoxPro is an editor for live work air studios and newsrooms. The LXE is the company’s flagship IP console. Both are part of the WheatNet IP Intelligent Network, a complete IP audio ecosystem of consoles, talent stations, I/O units, accessories, virtual tools, and appliances.

Wheatstone acquired the VoxPro line in 2015.
