Owners of Burk Technology’s older GSC3000 and VRC2500 remote controllers now have a dedicated pathway to IP nirvana, Burk’s new GSC/VRC IP Converter.
The GSC/VRC IP Converter connects directly to a LAN, between the LAN and the device. Point-to-point limitations or worry about expensive dedicated or increasingly obsolete communications circuits are eliminated.
A release states, “The IP converter allows broadcasters to use existing IP links to carry remote control data, eliminating the need for costly Telco circuits and other legacy links.”
It is compatible with Burk’s AutoPilot 2010 and Lynx 5 applications. It is also compatible with the GSC3000 Voice Interface module. Price: $495.
