DEVA Broadcast has added another product to its range of IP audio tools, announcing the inclusion of its DB9009 series of second generation IP audio encoder and decoders.
The DB9009 series supports HE-AAC versions 1 and 2, MPEG-1 Layer 3 compressed audio streams and a lossless uncompressed PCM stream for long-distance audio transmission.
The decoder also features backup sources in the event of an interrupted feed. It is also available with an optional, fully digital DSP-based stereo and RDS encoder module.
The DB9009 joins the DB90 and DB91 in DEVA’s range of IP audio tools.
