IBC Sneak Peek: Omnia Debuts VOCO 8

In 2 RU, the system features eight mic inputs, ‘Session Recall,’ ‘Dominate-It’ auto leveling, more

Omnia VOCO 8, debuting at IBC 2015, solves the issue of processing the many individual voices that listeners identify with one’s radio station, says the Telos Alliance.

Occupying 2 RU, VOCO 8 offers eight microphone inputs. Features include eight studio-grade mic preamps with Phantom power, “Dominate-It” auto-leveling to spotlight designated presenters during shows with multiple mics, “Session Recall” to recall configurations for entire shows, a three-band noise gate and dynamics processor, four bands of parametric EQ and a brick wall final limiter.

Each of the eight available channels can be networked throughout an entire facility using Livewire+/AES67 Audio-over-IP, the company added.

IBC Stand: 8.D47
