From our “Who’s Buying What” page: In Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Radio Light FM 103.9 has installed two new Nautel FM transmitters to replace its previous tube-type models.
Belo Horizonte is the capital city of southeastern Brazil’s Minas Gerais state. The station offers adult contemporary music with a soundtrack it describes as connecting generations, “from Elton John to Bruno Mars, from Gilberto Gil to Jão.”
Claudio Carneiro, vice president of the station’s owner, Radio Extra de Belo Horizonte, said Nautel’s GV60 and GV20 transmitters were the first units purchased for Radio Light FM.
“However, we have been working with Nautel since 1997, and have purchased many AM and FM transmitters for other stations under our responsibility,” he said in a release.
Carneiro worked with the company’s RF supervisor, Paulo Henrique Souza, and audio technician Higor Almeida to complete the installation.
Nautel also cited assistance provided by Carlos Avila Pereira, its regional sales manager for Latin America and the Caribbean.
