Nautel is reminding customers to register their transmitters.
That goes for units that you purchase used, as well as any new ones.
“When a used transmitter is purchased, it may still be registered to the former owner, and that can delay the support process,” said John Wilton, Nautel Head of Customer Service in a reminder email sent by the company.
“Likewise, transmitters purchased through dealers may not automatically be registered to the end user. Keeping your ownership information up to date helps ensure we can quickly identify your equipment and provide timely support.”
