LAS VEGASThe NextRadio team is showcasing some new advancements this week at the 2016 CES.
NextRadio is cohosting an after-hours event with BLU Products, Inc. entitled the Gold Party, taking place at the MGM Grand at Hakkasan. BLU is showcasing the newly announced Vivo 5 and Vivo XL, both featuring NextRadio as the native FM tuner application. NextRadio has partnered with BLU to be the native tuner for all forthcoming devices.
Also, the NextRadio app is being demonstrated in the Ford booth as a featured SmartDeviceLink app. SmartDeviceLink is Fords open-source platform for connecting smartphone apps with the Sync car dashboard, and the technology was also recently adopted by Toyota. The in-vehicle demo shows off an innovative FM radio tuner experience powered by NextRadio. The app connects via Bluetooth and uses the station guide and metadata from NextRadio to create a visual and interactive radio experience in the car dashboard.
