Former Shure Chairwoman, Founder’s Wife Dies

Rose Shure had been with the company since 1949

Rose Shure � wife of the eponymous microphone and turntable manufacturing company’s founder Sidney Shure� has passed away. She was involved with Shure�s business for decades, including serving as chairman of the board.�

The company was founded in 1925, and Mrs. Shure started with the company in 1949.

Her services will be private.�

�We have had the privilege of working with a truly extraordinary woman,� said Shure CEO Sandy LaMantia.��Our company and many charitable and cultural organizations have benefited from her thoughtfulness and generosity. I am confident that the legacy left to us by Mr. and Mrs. Shure will continue to endure in our hearts and in our minds.��
