Fullam New Infinity President/COO

John Fullam has been named President and COO of Viacom subsidiary Infinity Broadcasting. Fullam Dan Mason, who will leave the company to spend more time with his family but will stay on as a consultant.
Infinity chairman/CEO John Sykes said, “John’s managerial and leadership skills for the past 26 years have made him one of the radio industry’s most respected leaders. He has enjoyed an unvarnished track record of success operating multiple groups of stations in some of the largest markets in the nation.”
Fullam will oversee day-to-day operations of Infinity’s 183 radio stations and will report to Sykes. The appointment is effective immediately.
“Dan’s stewardship of our stations played a very major role in the success of Infinity Broadcasting over the years, and in helping cement our position as the premier radio group in the industry,” Sykes said.
Fullam most recently served as senior regional vice president of Clear Channel Communications, where he oversaw 40 radio stations in six of the country’s biggest radio markets — New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Detroit and Boston. Under his supervision, those stations achieved yearly revenues of more than $600 million. While at Clear Channel, Fullam also led a task force charged with consolidating the radio, outdoor, music and theater divisions into one unit.
