Harry Harrison Will Have Weekend Shift at WCBS

Harry Harrison will host a Saturday morning show on WCBS(FM) in New York. Half of the show, from 8 to 10 a.m., will be a Beatles music segment.
He’ll start this weekend, which also marks what would have been John Lennon’s 64th birthday.
PD Dave Logan hired Harrison back to the station, where he worked for 23 years. Harrison started in Chicago, worked in Peoria and then went to WMCA(AM) in New York in 1959. He moved to WABC in 1968, then WCBS(FM) in 1980. He retired a year ago this March.
