Internet Radio Listening Still Growing

Internet radio listening continues to climb, according to the latest weekly report from MeasureCast.
In the week of Aug. 13-19, the total time spent listening reached its highest point since the beginning of this year, when MeasureCast began to index TTSL. The MeasureCast Internet Radio Index indicates that TTSL has more than doubled since January, with an increase of 4% last week.
Additionally, MeasureCast reported that the top five Internet radio networks measured by MeasureCast streamed 62,551 more hours of entertainment last week than the top five networks did the week ending August 12. Together, these groups streamed 1,198,973 hours of entertainment.
The top five in the latest report are No. 1 WarpRadio.com, which streamed a total of 412,325 hours. No. 2 is SurferNetwork.com, with a TTSL of 304,863. CableMusic.com took third place with a TTSL of 225,856, while Mediamazing.com claimed fourth place with a TTSL of 128,194. Virgin Radio won fifth place with a TTSL of 127,735.
