Internet music service Rdio used the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, to unveil its new look and features.
Malthe Sigurdsson, VP of Product for Rdio said the company has made Rdio “bigger and better with new features that really make discovery fun.”
He promises it is “more than just a redesign; the new Rdio transforms the boring, spreadsheet-like way of consuming digital music into something visual and dynamic.”
Part of the new Radio is a new GUI along with increased social interaction options such as sharing music or knowing what others are listening to.
Rdio offers free as well as tiered pricing plans and it is also available for iDevices, Android, BlackBerry and Windows Phone 7 devices. It claims a music catalog of 15 million songs.
