Satcom, Axia Sign Networking Deal

Satcom Resources and Axia Audio said they signed a business relationship deal.
Satcom is a Colorado-based integrator and distributor of VSAT and conventional satellite communications networks; its CTO is Bill Sepmeier. Axia, based in Cleveland, makes switched Ethernet digital audio networking systems. Satcom is integrating the Axia Audio line into its online catalog.
In the announcement, Sepmeier stated: “The beauty of our product lines’ blend is that program material never leaves the IP format, and can be used in real time throughout a worldwide consolidated broadcast operation, no matter where that operation reaches.”
Axia President Michael Dosch said the deal lets users extend their networks across continents, using the satellite connectivity solutions available from Satcom.
