Cummis, CBT, CTO, is the chief technical officer of PBS39/WLVT(TV) in Bethlehem, Pa.  A member of SBE Chapter 15 in New York City, she is the first woman to hold the office, now, for a second time.

“My first year in office has gone by quickly, and I’m proud of what we have accomplished so far,” said Cummis on her re-election. “In the coming year, I feel we can continue with the momentum we started and further the goals of the society.”

In July, Cummis was named SBE Engineer of the Year. The award is presented to a member who has excelled in his or her career while furthering the mission of the Society of Broadcast Engineers.
