The Telos Alliance gathered dealers at its Cleveland headquarters this month to talk business and, specifically, about streaming.
Part of its “business retreat” was a two-day event dubbed Streaming University, with training about the ins and outs of streaming, and how to achieve the best possible stream for an audience.
Topics included stream encoding basics, CDNs, adaptive streaming and other concepts.
The company’s Kirk Harnack designed the course and was quoted saying, “Broadcasters are telling us they’re either already serious or about to get serious with Internet streaming. They’re seeing mobile apps everywhere, including TuneIn, and realizing they must be front-and-center to their potential online listeners.”
