RCS is announcing additions to its cloud-native platforms.
The first is a new product offering called SelectorCloud. The broadcast product company said it is designed to bring music programming to the cloud.
Powered by “advanced scheduling AI,” SelectorCloud’s engine analyzes previously used patterns, listener data and station objectives to optimize the music scheduling process.
RCS said the result is precision and balance that were unattainable through traditional software.
ZettaCloud is also getting a software update.
The cloud-based playout platform is used by approximately 530 radio stations. RCS said it is architected entirely for the cloud, as opposed to merely virtualized, making it more scalable. Its browser-based interface allows stations to manage, monitor and control playout remotely.
Both SelectorCloud and the update to ZettaCloud will make their debut at the Radio TechCon show, taking place Nov. 25 at IET London.
