Sierra Automated Systems will tell attendees about several additions to its lineup including the SAS ICM-24 Intercom Panel for intensive news, network and program production applications.

Intercom, IFB and paging are integrated in the Rubicon series digital console control surfaces and 32KD Digital Router/Mixer. The company says its facilities projects for major news networks and all-news radio stations led to development of an intercom panel “that merges the best features of traditional television-style com systems with the needs of radio broadcast facilities.”

Features include 2U rack-mount, flush or gooseneck mic, speaker, front-panel XLR for two-channel headset, 1/8-inch jack for two-channel headphones, 24 spring-loaded up/down listen/talk channels and two lines/16 characters of text per channel.

The company also will promote expanded features of the Rubicon series included expanded automatic mix-minus capability. And SAS will show the Rubicon-Dees Digital Console Control Surface featuring rotary faders and VU meters, custom designed for Rick Dees.
